Former WWF star Ahmed Johnson (real name Tony Norris, now 62 years old) survived a crash crash after being hit by a drunk driver on September 29.
Former pro wrestler Reggie Rollins Jr. posted that update and the following picture of the crash on social media. It looks like a very scary scene which could have ended much worse.
Ahmed spoke up in the comments to let everyone know he’s okay, aside from some broken ribs.
“I’m okay cuz thank you just a few broken ribs but I’m good thank you.”
Johnson also
gave some credit to a higher power:
“When you have the Lord on your side nothing can harm you.”
During his peak push in WWF as a babyface from late 1995 to mid-1997, Johnson was best known for his extremely muscular physique, Pearl River Plunge powerbomb finishing move, and his feud with Faarooq (aka Ron Simmons) and the Nation of Domination.
