Barcelona’s Under-18s are celebrating after winning the Youth Club World Cup by beating Racing de Avellaneda 1-0 in the final thanks to a wonderful goal.
The winning goal came from Ukranian forward Artem Rybak with just 10 minutes remaining and was certainly worth waiting for as it was a brilliant team effort.
The first half had been a tense affair with Racing forcing Barcelona goalkeeper Gerard Sala into an impressive save to preserve his clean sheet.
Yet the Catalans slowly grew into the game and began to dominate after the break. Rybak was then sent on with 20 minutes left to play and grabbed the winning goal to enhance his growing reputation.
The win continues another fantastic year for La Masia and brings another trophy to the club.
Barca also won the UEFA Youth League last season, while the first team continues to see plenty of young graduates in the first team such as Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi and more recently Dro Fernandez.
