Most Valuable Promotions secured the services of another elite female boxer today by signing WBO super flyweight champion Mizuki Hiruta.
Mizuki Hiruta said: “I want to thank Most Valuable Promotions from the bottom of my heart for this incredible opportunity! I’m so excited to chase my dreams with MVP! I’ll turn all this gratitude into strength, keep working hard, and never lose my smile or forget who I am. I want to make everyone who supports me happy and bring smiles to as many people as possible.
I want to be a one-of-a-kind SUPERSTAR! I want to be a CHINGONA! No pasa nada!”
Hiruta (11-0, 2 KO) has held her title since 2022, but broke out with a 2025 campaign under the tutelage of Manny Robles that saw her rack up four wins on American soil and take home The Ring’s Female Fighter of the Year honors. She fought just once in 2026, defeating Austalia’s Mai Soliman in Giza on the Oleksandr Usyk vs Rico Verhoeven undercard.
As for who she can fight under the MVP banner, the obvious choice is long-reigning IBF titlist Irma Garcia. The 45-year-old “Torbellino” smashed undefeated Emma Dolan and seemingly derailed her career for good this past April; if she emerges victorious in her unification bout with WBA champ Nataly Delgado on this weekend’s Turhan vs Baumgardner show, that’s the fight to make.
