Florida State has a ton of needs along the offensive line this offseason and just secured a prominent addition for 2026, with Purdue starting center Bradyn Joiner committing to join the tribe. 247Sports’
Matt Zenitz first reported the news.
Joiner may be a familiar name to Seminole fans, as Mike Norvell and company tried to gain his pledge last cycle when Joiner transferred from Auburn after landing on the All-SEC Freshman Team. He landed at Purdue and subsequently started all 12 games at center for the Boilermakers. He had mixed results on the field, posting an overall higher grade and a decently improved pass blocking grade in his second season. He finished with an overall PFF grade of 62.7, with only one sack allowed on 791 snaps.
Joiner should push for a starting role along the interior of the line and at worst should provide functional depth, as he has experience at center and left guard. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Herb Hand worked quickly to lock him up this time around and Joiner will now continue his career in Tallahassee.
