Somewhere, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez might need a cigarette.
Bayern Munich star Michael Olise put on a show for France as he led Les Bleus to a convincing 3-1 victory over Northern Ireland in a World Cup tune-up. Olise had a hat trick, completed 51 of his 59 passes (86%), had three successful dribbles, won two of his three tackles, six of his 11 ground duels, and also had a key pass en route to leading France to a victory.
Olise also set a new standard for scoring with France as well:
🇫🇷 Michael Olise is the 1st player to score 7 goals after his first 17 matches with France since Youri Djorkaeff in June 1996 (10).
Michael Olise (7) has already joined Ousmane Dembélé in the top scorers’ rankings with Les Bleus. #FRAIRL
With Real Madrid lusting after him, Olise put on an absolute show. All that said, it would be shocking to see Bayern Munich even contemplate a sale of Olise.
