The Nats are headed to Queens to face a Mets team that has fallen on their face so far this season. They are 9-19, which is tied for the worst record in baseball. With Alex Cora and Rob Thomson having been fired, Carlos Mendoza’s seat is red hot. However, a wounded animal can be the most dangerous to deal with sometimes.
There are no huge surprises in this Nats lineup. The biggest one is probably the fact that Brady House is at DH. Jorbit Vivas will be playing third base instead. Drew Millas will be doing
the catching tonight. Zack Littell has gotten off to a brutal start in his Nats career, with home runs being a massive issue. He will look to right the ship tonight.
The Mets will be without a couple key players, with Luis Robert Jr. and Francisco Lindor out injured. Juan Soto is only healthy enough to be the DH in this one. That slides MJ Melendez to left field and Brett Baty to right field. Carson Benge will play in center. Clay Holmes is one of the few Mets players to get off to a good start, and he will be on the mound tonight.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza may very well be fighting for his job in this series. I am very interested to see what kind of response this struggling Mets team gives. Their backs are against the wall already, and this Nats team is ready to deliver more punishment. Follow along in the comments below and let’s go Nats.
