The Las Vegas Raiders signed safety Terrell Edmunds recently.
Let’s take a closer look at Edmunds:
Size:
6-1, 217 pounds.
NFL experience:|
Edmunds entered the NFL as a first-round pick in 2018 when the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him with the No. 28 overall pick. He spent his first NFL seasons with the Steelers. Edmunds signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023. He was traded to the Tennessee Titans in October, 2023. He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, and was soon cut.
He returned to Pittsburgh later last season. He spent some time in 2025 with the Los Angeles Chargers with the Raiders this month as a street free agent. He’s played in 101 games with 79 starts in the NFL.
College:
Edmunds went to Virginia Tech. His brothers Trey and Tremaine also have been NFL players as was their father, Ferrell. Terrell and Tremaine made history becoming the first brothers drafted in the first round of the same draft.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
Edmunds, 28, is certainly an experienced player and that Raiders need that for their depth at the position. He is not a great player, but if need be, he can give the Raiders plenty of snaps during the season. I‘d expect him to make the 53-man roster.
