The New England Patriots could go multiple directions with the 31st overall selection in this year’s draft, with wide receiver a realistic possibility. If so, Texas A&M’s K.C. Concepcion is a player to keep an eye on.
Not only is Concepcion one of the top receiver prospects available in the draft this year, he also will be among only 30 players to visit the Patriots’ facility leading up to the draft: according to recent reports, he is set to take a so-called 30 visit with the organization.
Concepcion,
21, spent the first two years of his college career at N.C. State before transferring to Texas A&M ahead of his 2025 junior campaign. In his lone season with the Aggies, he was named first-team All-SEC as a receiver, returner and all-purpose player, was voted a consensus All-American and won the Paul Hornung Award recognizing the most versatile player in college football.
In total, he ended his college career with 37 starts among 38 games as well as 185 catches, 2,218 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns. He also carried the ball 70 times for 431 yards and three scores, and returned 30 punts for an average of 16.7 yards and a pair of additional TDs.
While his résumé is worthy of a first-round pick, the 6-foot-0, 196-pound wideout also is facing some injury questions after recently undergoing a knee scope. The Patriots taking a close look at his knee during the visit would not be surprising; medical evaluation is a key part of 30 visits such as this one.
Concepcion is not the only new addition to a list that now stands nine players deep. Tight end Oscar Delp, who potentially might come off the board as early as the third round, is also among the players set to spend some time in Foxborough leading up to the draft.
Delp, 22, spent his entire four-year career at Georgia. In 55 games as a Bulldog, he caught 70 passes for 854 yards and nine touchdowns and also played through a hairline fracture in 2025 that went undiscovered until the Combine.
