According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich could be planning a wild winter transfer window, which could see the club sell Kim Min-jae and bring in a Premier League defender.
Kim has been expected to be a part of the team for at least this season as the third center-back, but maybe things are changing. At worst, it was thought Kim could leave the club next summer. Interestingly, though, a sale of Kim in January is not out of the question per Falk — if Bayern Munich can secure Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guéhi in January. Guéhi is in the final months of his contract with Crystal Palace:
Juventus could try and sign Kim Min-jae in January. Bayern, of course, doesn’t want to sell in the winter. Perhaps, if they could bring Marc Guehi to the side in January, this could be an opportunity.
However, in this case, I have to tell you that Juventus aren’t the only interested club from Italy. AC Milan and Inter Milan are both more concrete at the moment for the signing of Kim. They’re really concretely interested.
So, you see, his prior performances at Napoli in Serie A are still remembered in Italy, and there is so much interest in the South Korea international’s services. Those two main clubs will try to sign him in the summer, but if there is a chance in the winter, I think that will also be an option on the table.
The only roadblock to this kind of move could be Kim’s salary (€15 million all-in per Capology), which is rumored to be too much for many Italian teams.
Bayern Munich is steamrolling into the week and is scorching hot.
Hotter than hot.
Blazing hot.
However you want to put it, the Bavarians are riding high and playing better than they have at point since 2020. This has truly been a fun ride to watch, but it is far from over. In the midst of all of that, we have a ton of news going on and a lot of it (hell, all of it) is positive at this stage.
