The first of two champion vs. champion Crown Jewel championship matches at today’s (Sat., Nov. 7, 2026) Crown Jewel premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was a story of an unlikely success story at war with her own doubts as much as her opponent. Chelsea Green was never supposed to be here, and then Rhea Ripley got injured, and she went viral a time or two, and suddenly she was at the top of a ladder taking down an interim title.
The interim label didn’t last long. She is champ, no matter how
little she believes in herself.
That meant actually having to fight Liv Morgan, who spent weeks driving that doubt even deeper into Green’s brain, all the way into her soul. Chelsea set up the match as such: a loss would prove Liv — and the rest of the doubters — right. A win would show she belonged.
The match played out largely in service of that. Morgan was dominant early, Green finally showed some signs of life, then the world champ shut her down, then Morgan let the crowd give her more life. She seemed to finally find some faith in herself.
Late in the match, The Judgment Day showed up to assist Liv but she was having none of it. “It’s just Chelsea,” she told them. “I got this. You can go.”
So they did.
She lost almost immediately after.
Morgan was in control back in the ring, enough to go for Oblivion, but Green countered and stacked her up for a pinfall attempt. The entire arena had the breath shocked out of them when it actually got a three count.
We have a new Crown Jewel champion.
Chelsea Green.
Triple H presented her the title and a fancy ring, and she was given a microphone to speak. She finally stepped into the role of a champion by saying “I do deserve it!”
