The Kentucky Wildcats are getting geared up for their date with the Vanderbilt Commodores as the Cats look to continue their hot streak and earn bowl eligibility.
Mark Stoops and his team have the momentum on their side at the moment, but the injury bug has really bitten his squad. After the initial injury report on Wednesday night showed that the Cats could be without six defensive backs, the Cats have now ruled out DJ Waller, so his season may be over with just two games remaining, pending a potential
bowl berth.
With Alex Afari, Terhyon Nichols, and Kahlil Saunders still listed as questionable, Friday’s report will be rather important to see who will be available come Saturday afternoon.
For Vanderbilt, they come into the game relatively healthy with only five players listed as out for the game on Saturday.
Going to be an important one for Kentucky in Nashville. Especially with the Vandy passing game, the more defenders we can get healthy, the better. Now we wait until tomorrow.
