Arman Tsarukyan keeps finding new ways to grab headlines.
The No. 1 UFC lightweight contender popped up on the MVP MMA: Rousey vs. Carano pre-Netflix broadcast following Namo Fazil’s submission win over Jake Babian to close out the preliminary portion of the card.
In the video below, Tsarukyan can be seen lunging at Fazil from the stands, and in a subsequent clip he and his entourage actually confronted Fazil and his team backstage.
Watch the footage below.
Tensions between Tsarukyan and Fazil arose this week when the two fighters, who share Armenian heritage, had a heated disagreement over comments Tsarukyan made on a live stream about Armenia’s Kurdish community. Now, Tsarukyan and Fazil find themselves involved in an unlikely feud, one that won’t be resolved anytime soon with the fighters in different promotions and different weight classes.
Tsarukyan already has a full plate as he is booked for a pair of RAF wrestling matches, against influencer Mugzy on May 30 and former UFC star Tony Ferguson on June 13.
