This will be our news hub for the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man roster. Usually, the Packers announce their full roster well after the cutdown deadline, which this year is Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT. I wouldn’t expect to get the entire picture of Green Bay’s roster until then, but news has already begun to roll out.
Because of the trade for offensive lineman Darian Kinnard, the Packers were forced to make a corresponding roster move ahead of the deadline. The team announced on Monday that they have officially
parted ways with receiver Kawaan Baker, who they signed two weeks ago after injuries to Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs and Savion Williams limited Green Bay’s numbers at the position in practice.
The Packers are still at 90 players, not including their international exemption of kicker Mark McNamee. There’s plenty of work to do leading up to the deadline.
