As the end of the 2025 preseason draws near, fans of teams across the NFL are excited for the potential of the upcoming season. The questions and doubts about the offseason are a distant memory, as the hype of free agency and the draft have given way to seeds of hope planted during the preseason.
Just as with every season, though, Week 1 is likely to come as a cold douse of reality for many fans, though exactly which teams will experience early season letdowns that send their fans into a spiral of cope
and excuses won’t be known for two more weeks.
So, with the regular season and games that count in the standings just around the corner, it’s as good a time as any to take a peak at not just what fans of the Seattle Seahawks think, but to take a gander at the expectations for the entire NFC West division. Thus, without wasting any further time, the current Super Bowl odds for each of the NFC West franchises at FanDuel Sportsbook are:
- San Francisco 49ers: +1900
- Los Angeles Rams: +2000
- Arizona Cardinals: +4000
- Seattle Seahawks: +5500
This means that even though Mike Macdonald is entering the second year of his tenure, with the Seattle defense in a much better place compared to a year ago, and even with the addition of Grey Zabel and some semblance of continuity on the offensive line, the Seahawks aren’t getting a lot of credit just yet. In fact, they’re getting less credit than the rest of the NFC West, even after going 4-2 against division foes, which helped them to a second place finish.
In any case, the regular season can’t get here fast enough for fans who are excited for the Seahawks to surprise to the upside this year, but first fans will get to enjoy the preseason finale against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday afternoon.
