not here to dwell on that mistake any longer, since there’s a far better performance against a far better NFL team out of Florida that needs focus.
Entering Week 11’s game, there was a bit of noise about Buffalo’s struggles to pass the ball and what that might mean in having to contend with a healthy dose of wind off Lake Erie. It meant nothing. After an uncharacteristic start where the Bills won the coin toss, the defense forced a punt on the Buccaneers’ opening scripted drive, only to then see the offense give it right back thanks to a terrible decision by quarterback Josh Allen out of his own end zone — Buffalo quickly regrouped to rally around an effort that better resembled a group hungry for the postseason.
The defensive concerns may linger into next April’s NFL Draft, but it’s clear that the Bills can fix what’s gone wrong in the passing game. Now at 7-3, Buffalo will quickly turn its attention to their Thursday night road date with the Houston Texans. What did we learn from Week 11? Let’s dive in…
