Now that we’re a couple of days out from Juventus’ thrilling stoppage-time win over Inter Milan in the first Derby d’Italia of the 2025-26 season, hopefully your blood pressure has come down at least a little bit after everything that happened during the course of those 90-plus minutes at the Allianz Stadium.
Or maybe you’re still buzzing.
It’s OK to be like that. Juventus did beat Inter and did so in a crushing kind of fashion.
Saturday’s win was just as much of an emotional roller coaster we saw last
October when these two teams played to a 4-4 draw at the San Siro. This time, though, Juventus got three points instead of just one — which makes it all the more sweeter. Plus, you look at how Juve got those three points and the source who provided the incredible game-winning goal, and you can’t but help but still smile with how it all went down.
That’s just what a win over Inter does, folks. It’s the Derby d’Italia after all.
