Barcelona’s players enjoyed a busy international break with most of the squad spending the three weeks away from the club with their national teams.
Lamine Yamal dazzled with Spain, scoring three times and grabbing an assist, while Anthony Gordon also caught the eye with some exciting performances for England.
Joao Cancelo was also in the goals for Portugal. The full-back smashed home another banger to add to his collection against Norway and was also on target in the 4-2 victory over Denmark.
Elsewhere,
Pedri, Rodri, Pau Cubarsi, Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez saw game time with Spain but saw their game time managed by manager Luis de la Fuente.
And of course players not called up, such as Gabriel Jesus, Gavi and Gerard Martin, were given time off to rest and recuperate ahead of a busy month of fixtures in October.
The break also allowed Joan Garcia time to recover from the knee injury that forced him onto the sidelines, while Frenkie de Jong has taken a step forward in his recovery and is nearing a return to action.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Which Barcelona player benefited the most from the international break?
