It sounds like Lamar Jackson is going to play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8.
The former MVP quarterback has missed the past three games with an ankle injury, a stretch in which the Ravens went 1-2 with a win over the Falcons in Atlanta and consecutive losses in the AFC North to the Browns and Bengals.
Appearing on Peter Schrager’s new show, “Big Day,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said as much. Here’s the clip of his report:
There’s been plenty of mystery regarding this injury for Jackson, especially after everything that transpired on the injury front last week.
Before Week 7’s home game against the Bengals, Jackson was limited in practice all week before being hit with a questionable designation on Friday. He then was ruled out by the team on Saturday.
But that’s seemingly all in the past now, as Rapoport has indicated Jackson will be on the field in Orchard Park on Sunday which will mark Buffalo’s second matchup against a former MVP in the past three games.
