While Notre Dame was at home eating cheeseburgers on Saturday, the rest of the college football world played ball, and there was enough turmoil to move the Irish up one spot. No one ranked above the Irish lost, but the Fighting Gerad Parkers of Troy gave the Clemson enough fits to make the pollsters
rething their place in the top 25.
Notre Dame moves up to #8.

Notre Dame’s lone opponenet left in the Top 25 is the Texas A&M Aggies and they moved up a handful of spots to #16 in the country. The Irish will face off against the Aggies on Saturday in a prime time top 25 showdown.
The Pitt Panthers, USC Trojans, and Navy Midshipmen all received votes this week, so they technically could creep into the top 25 . Southern Cal is ranked #5 according to the ESPN FPI — which we all know is just fake math.
