The Los Angeles Rams made a trade for defensive back help when they traded with the Tennessee Titans for Roger McCreary, and I am going to post a video of highlights I found below. I can’t say I know too
much about McCreary, so it should be fun to learn all I can.
The trade seems like a low-risk move for the Rams, and a way for the Titans to move on from a player they no longer want, so potentially this is a win-win? We won’t really know until we see how he looks for the Rams, otherwise, it does seem like a win for the Titans if they really were done with the player.
What other trades could the team make between now and the trade deadline? Is there another player you’d like to see L.A. add? How are you feeling about the McCreary trade?
Comment on whatever you want, maybe make up your own topics if you are so inclined! We love hearing from you! You know what they say, thank you for checking out Turf Show Times!
Rams acquire CB Roger McCreary from Titans with draft pick swap (espn.com)
“The Titans will receive a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick. The Rams will receive a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick along with McCreary. The Titans will likely receive the Rams’ fifth-round pick closer to the beginning of the round while Los Angeles is likely to receive Tennessee’s pick in the sixth-round pick closest to the end of the round, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
McCreary, a second-round pick in 2022, is in the final season of his rookie contract. He has played primarily in the slot for the Titans this season but has experience playing outside, as well.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said trading for McCreary adds “depth” at the position group for Los Angeles and that the cornerback’s versatility made him an ideal addition.“
Rams’ Nacua expected to return vs. Saints (thescore.com)
“Nacua sustained an ankle injury Oct. 12 and missed Los Angeles’ contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London the following week. With the Rams coming off a bye, the 24-year-old is expected to return to practice Wednesday.
Nacua is the Rams’ No. 1 weapon. He still tops the NFL with 65 targets and leads all L.A. receivers in yards (616) and catches (54). The third-year wideout has also scored three scrimmage touchdowns.
Nacua forms an elite duo with Davante Adams, who’s caught six touchdowns in his first year with the Rams. Adams stepped up with Nacua sidelined, finding the end zone three times against the Jaguars.“
Rams Place WR on Injured Reserve Ahead of Week 9 Clash (lafbnetwork)
“The Los Angeles Rams announced Monday that wide receiver Tutu Atwell has been moved to the reserve/injured list, sidelining him for the near term. Atwell suffered a hamstring injury in practice, forcing him to miss the Rams’ game against the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Sean McVay confirmed. It is not known if his hamstring injury is the reason for the roster move.“
Random Ramsdom Fandom:
-“Haha, I called it too and posted it in the “Should the Rams make a play for BTJ?” article that Ken posted a couple days ago. I believe he’s better in the Rams system than Forbes which means an upgrade. Is he the obvious answer to the Rams CB issues? No sure, but he tackles and plays the run better than Forbes and maybe other current Ram CB’s.“ -Merlin&Deacon
