The future of former Bayern Munich star and current FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is up in the air.
A return to Barca is looking less and less likely, while a move to AC Milan still seems like a longshot. Now, there is another club who wants the Polish Hitman per reports — Inter Miami.
The 2025 MLS champs are essentially Lionel Messi & Friends at this point and could be looking to add another Euro star in Lewandowski per Yahoo:
Inter Miami CF intends to pair Lionel Messi with Robert Lewandowski
to win the 2026 MLS Cup, according to recent reports.
After being crowned Major League Soccer champion by defeating Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 on Dec. 6, the Miami franchise is already planning for the next season.
Messi, 38, said goodbye to Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who decided to retire from professional soccer after the recently concluded campaign, and with Luis Suarez’s future still in doubt, it is not yet known who will be the third Designated Player who will accompany Inter Miami’s number 10 and Rodrigo De Paul in 2026.
According to Polish journalist Marek Jozwiak, Inter Miami is already looking for a house for Lewandowski, 37, with the intention of signing him and adding him to its squad.
Even at 37 or 38, Lewandowski could be an absolute menace in MLS? So…what do you say, should Lewandowski make the leap the United States? Tell us what you think and why in the comments below.
