Bayern Munich signing Ismael Saibari is still getting used to his new digs, but he recently said that Vincent Kompany’s style of play is akin to what Peter Bosz rolled out at his old club PSV Eindhoven.
“Since Vincent Kompany arrived, Bayern have been playing with a lot of intensity. I experienced that myself last season,” Saibari said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “I like this style of play and I’m looking forward to the new challenge.” If you may remember, Saibari faced Bayern as a PSV
player in the Champions League last season and even scored against the Bavarians. The Dutch side ultimately lost 2-1.
Depending on what happens with Jamal Musiala and with the injuries to both Lennart Karl and Serge Gnabry, Saibari could have a big role in the weeks to come. The head coach has already talked about being a fan of the Moroccan signee and now he will get a chance to earn the coach’s trust.
