With Game Week 14 now behind us, my focus is already on Game Week 15 as the deadline fast approaches. With two game weeks in the same week, every decision matters.
Player form, upcoming fixtures, and minutes played have all influenced how my squad looks heading into the new game week.
My team still has a few injured players, but as I continue to get free transfers, I will be replacing them each week.
I’ve already made some changes and plan to use my one free transfer to bring in a player with good fixtures
ahead.
Game Week 14 Review
Looking back at Game Week 14, my team had a mixed performance. Some players delivered exactly as I hoped, providing valuable points, while others didn’t perform as expected.
My main man at the back, Dubravka, lost his match against Palace and only gave me 2 points. Heading into Game Week 15, he faces Newcastle, which could still be a tough fixture.
Despite that, I’m holding onto him for now and hoping he can bounce back.
In my defense, I have Cucurella, whom I brought in last game week. He lost 3-1 to Leeds United, which was very surprising, and he only gave me 1 point.
He now plays Bournemouth, who sit 14th in the table, and I’m still hoping he can deliver some points this week.
Alongside them, I have Crystal Palace’s Lacroix, who has been adding valuable points for several weeks.
Munoz and Guehi have also been helping managers who own them, and I’m confident Lacroix can continue his good form against Fulham.
I also have Aston Villa’s Digne, who gave me just 1 point last week, but he remains in my team heading into Game Week 15.
In my midfield, I have Cherki, who played just 8 minutes in City’s 5-4 match against Fulham. He gave me 0 points after picking up a yellow card.
Alongside him, I have Mbeumo, Reijnders, and Ndiaye. These players have been saving my team for a while now, especially Reijnders, who gave me 7 points in Game Week 14.
Up front, I have Woltemade, who drew his match against Spurs and gave me 5 points, and Mateta, who wasn’t able to find the net and gave me just 2 points.
My main man at the front, Haaland, whom I captained against Fulham, gave me an incredible 28 points with a goal and 2 assists. He now faces Sunderland next, and I’m hoping he continues his excellent form.
GW15 FPL Preview: Using My One Free Transfer
I have already used my one free transfer to replace Sarr on my bench with Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães. He costs 6.7 million and is a good differential option.
Guimarães has been giving consistent FPL points over the last three game weeks, earning 10 points against Manchester City, 4 points against Everton, and 7 points against Spurs.
With Burnley coming up next, I am hopeful he can continue his good form and bring in more points.
This is how my team looks heading into Game Week 15. I am using a 3-5-2 formation, bringing in Bruno Guimarães to replace Sarr, while keeping Mateta on my bench for now.
I’ll be giving my vice-captain armband to Woltemade, as he plays against Burnley, while Haaland will remain my captain for this week.
On my bench, I still have Pope, Gabriel, Mateta, and Van de Ven heading into Game Week 15.
