Serge Gnabry has experienced a career resurgence under Vincent Kompany. At 30 years of age, the Bayern Munich winger has become an excellent fill-in for Jamal Musiala who will return to action at the start
of the new year. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed, as a couple well-known clubs have asked about him:
Juventus and Liverpool have enquired about Serge Gnabry with a view to a potential free transfer next summer. Bayern are interested in extending Gnabry’s contract for another two years but with a pay cut.

Some of the fans may remember the club’s policy of extending players over 30 by one year increments, which was only broken once in recent memory (Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting). With his current form, Gnabry does make a case for a longer stay. Furthermore, the team is already kind of understaffed, so it makes little sense to sell anyone.
