The ACC announced game times and network assignments for its Week 7 matchups on Monday, and the Orange’s first game at the Dome in more than a month will be a primetime matchup against the Louisville Cardinals. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and will air nationally on ACC Network.
This will mark the second consecutive 7:30 p.m. kickoff for the Orange, as well as their second straight game airing on ACC Network. Syracuse will head down to Charlottesville this weekend to take on the ’Hoos at the same time this Saturday.
The October 17 matchup against Louisville will take place during Parents’ Weekend on campus and will mark Syracuse’s first true “Saturday Night” game at the Dome since the Orange fell to Pittsburgh, 30-13, last season.
The Cardinals entered the season with plenty of hype, but currently sit at 2-3 following back-to-back conference losses to Wake Forest and NC State. Louisville will host Florida State this weekend before traveling to the Dome to take on Syracuse. The matchup with the Orange will cap a stretch of seven consecutive weeks of games for the Cardinals to start the season, who will finally get their BYE the following week.
What do you think about the night time game slot for the Orange? Will you be attending?
