Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 6 after delivering a dominant performance on the defensive side of the ball in a win over Tampa Bay.
Ramsey finished the game with 10 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks, showcasing his versatility and impact across the Steelers’ defense. His ability to make plays near the line of scrimmage while continuing to contribute in coverage highlights the unique skill set that has made him one
of the NFL’s most versatile defenders.
The three-time First-Team All-Pro has built a reputation for his physicality, competitiveness and ability to impact games in multiple ways – none more than this Sunday when he finished the game with a walk off sack.
The AFC Defensive Player of the Week honor adds another accomplishment to Ramsey’s decorated career and provides a boost for a banged up Steelers defense looking to get healthy as the season progresses.
