All the attention is on Sat., Nov. 7’s Crown Jewel premium live event, currently scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But what about the previous night’s SmackDown?
Unlike a couple of their recent go homes for PLEs in the Kingdom (2025’s Night of Champions and this past February’s Royal Rumble), Crown Jewel 2026’s wasn’t announced for Saudi in advance. Or anywhere else for that matter.
Whether that was an intentional move to give WWE some flexibility given the Iran War’s destabilizing impact
on the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region, or it just worked out that way? We don’t know. We are however hearing (from Fightful Select) that WWE’s set with a plan.
That plan is to tape the Crown Jewel go home editions of Raw and SmackDown together at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Mon., Nov. 2. That means a pre-taped final push for the event from the blue brand, and an earlier start time for the red one. To not keep the New York crowd there too late for SmackDown’s taping, Raw will start at 6 p.m. ET. Netflix streams Raw live on Mondays whenever it happens, so the stream will begin two hours early on Nov. 2.
Then wherever Crown Jewel ends up happening, the fallout edition of Raw will be at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, streaming live at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix.
Got it? Think it makes sense… or at least more sense that flying into a warzone?
