The Pittsburgh Steelers have unveiled their 2026 Hall of Honor class Saturday, recognizing former general manager Kevin Colbert, longtime offensive lineman and broadcaster Craig Wolfley, and former cornerback J.T. Thomas for their lasting contributions to the franchise.
The announcement was made at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe as a part of the Steelers Back Together Weekend celebration.
Colbert, who served as the Steelers’ general manager from 2000 through the 2022 NFL Draft, helped oversee one of the organization’s most successful eras. Under his leadership, Pittsburgh captured two Super Bowl championships, appeared in three Super Bowls, and consistently remained among the NFL’s perennial contenders through strong drafting and roster construction.
Wolfley spent 10 seasons with the Steelers from 1980-89, earning a reputation as one of the team’s toughest offensive linemen during the decade. Following his playing career, he became a beloved voice of the franchise through his work as a Steelers radio analyst and broadcaster, further cementing his connection with the organization and its fan base.
Wolfley tragically passed away on March 10 of 2025 after a long battle with cancer.
Thomas starred at cornerback for the Steelers from 1973-81 and was a key member of Pittsburgh’s legendary “Steel Curtain” defense. A four-time Super Bowl champion, Thomas played a pivotal role in one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history and remains one of the standout defenders of the franchise’s championship era.
The Steelers Hall of Honor celebrates individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the organization, with the 2026 class adding three more influential figures whose impact spans the franchise’s championship success both on and off the field. The team opened the hall in 2017.
Colbert, Thomas and Wolfley will be inducted at Acrisure Stadium Sept. 25.
