Edmen Shahbazyan got back to his finishing ways just in time at UFC 320.
Coming off of a rare decision win, Shahbazyan made sure there were no scorecards necessary in his win over Andre Muniz on Saturday night. Shahbazyan rocked Muniz on the feet and then finished with vicious ground-and-pound, earning a knockout stoppage with two seconds remaining in the opening round.

After a few minutes of uneventful striking, Shahbazyan found himself defending a takedown attempt from Muniz, a noted submission specialist. Shahbazyan fought back to his feet, then caught Muniz with a stiff left hand as they separated.
Follow-up punches sent Muniz stumbling to the mat and Shahbazyan immediately jumped on him, raining down heavy elbows. One too many shots got through for referee Mark Smith, who stepped in for the save.
That’s three straight wins now for Shahbazyan (16-5), who has finished six of his eight UFC wins by KO/TKO.
Muniz (24-8) loses for the fourth time in five fights.
