Bayern Munich star striker Harry Kane was initially courted to the club during the tumultuous reign of former coach Thomas Tuchel.
While Tuchel was gone after just one season with Kane, the German manager did land on his feet with a job in England — coaching Kane once again with the Three Lions.
Despite having coached Kane daily before with Bayern Munich, Tuchel is still amazed by what the center-forward can do, especially when it comes to putting the ball into the net.
“How does he always find the
gap to shoot through and score. It’s impossible, it’s impossible. Everything is closed – the guy finds the gap,” Tuchel said in footage released by the English national team (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kane, who did not play during England’s 1-1 draw with Uruguay, figures to be an integral figure (if not the integral figure) for the Three Lions this summer at the World Cup. The 32-year-old has 48 goals and five assists in 40 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich this season, also has three trophies that he is chasing Bavaria as well.
Needless to say, Kane has a big few months in front of him.
