Had the Dolphins retained their wide receiver corps from the 2025-2026 season, Jaylen Waddle would have been the presumed WR1 for 2026-2027 with Tyreek Hill still recovering from his injury. With both players now gone, the team’s wide receiver room looks drastically different heading into the new season.
Below is the current list of WR’s on the roster as we head towards training camp:
Free Agent Additions
- Jalen Tolbert
- Tutu Atwell
2026 Draft Class Additions
- Caleb Douglas
- Chris Bell (expected to miss most of or all of 2026 due to injury)
- Kevin Coleman Jr.
Holdovers From 2025-2026 Roster
- Malik Washington
- Tahj Washington
Players Signed To Reserve/Future Contracts
- Terrace Marshall Jr.
- Jalen Reagor
Obviously, not all of the above will make it onto the day-one active roster, with most teams keeping between 5 and 6 WRs, and a very few keeping 7 from time to time. The Dolphins will also likely hold onto 2 to 4 WRs for the practice squad.
So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:
Who do you expect to step up as Malik Willis top wide receiver target for the Dolphins 2026-2027 NFL season, and why? If you can’t decide between two guys, please give us your two and your argument for each, possibly holding the top spot.
