The Braves made it clear since the start of the off-season that improving their shortstop situation was a priority. And on Monday, they ensure that would be the case. The Braves resigned Ha-Seong Kim to a one
year, $20M deal to return as their starting shortstop. Add in the acquisition of Mauricio Dubon a few weeks ago, and you can easily see how the Braves have improved their depth and reliability at shortstop.
Time will tell if Kim can regain his form that made him a very valuable infielder from 2022-2024, but there is no doubt the Braves have once again improved the club.

Year one of Jurickson Profar in Atlanta did not go as well as many planned, but he did show some offensive value at the top of the order.
More on Kim returning to Atlanta, a place he clearly enjoyed being a part of to end last season.
To make room for Kim, the Braves designated Osvaldo Bido for assignment.
