Kane doesn’t want transfer distractions (Fabrizio Romano via @iMiaSanMia)
Rumors have been swirling for weeks about the future of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
Now, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Kane is set to enter talks on a new contract with the Bavarians:
Harry Kane
is fully focused on Bayern and very happy at the club. There will be talks over a new contract, so before mentioning any other clubs, the negotiations with Bayern first have to take place. At this stage, it’s early to mention Barcelona or any other clubs. Kane is focused on Bayern and doesn’t want to be distracted by any transfer rumours.
A year ago, this did not seem so likely, but now, sure…it seems 100% legit and many fans think that is going to happen. As it stands, Bayern Munich and Kane seem to bring out the best in each other.
Madrid prioritizing Vinícius Júnior deal (ESPN)
Real Madrid wants to get a new deal in place with Vinícius Júnior:
Real Madrid are prioritising signing winger Vinícius Júnior to a new contract, according to Cadena Ser. The Bernabéu hierarchy believe that the 25-year-old has been unfairly treated by manager Xabi Alonso, and it looks as though they aren’t looking to consider offers despite him being linked with a potential exit from the club at present. Brazil international Vini Jr. has played 90 minutes in both of the last two matches for Los Blancos, who drew 0-0 in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
Leão to get new deal with Milan? (ESPN)
Last summer, Bayern Munich was closely linked to AC Milan winger Rafael Leão before the Bavarians settled in on Luis Díaz. Now, AC Milan could be looking to extend its deal with Leão:
The future of AC Milan winger Rafael Leão is open, according to Matteo Moretto. It was reported on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel that the Rossoneri are satisfied with the 23-year-old Portugal international’s current form and could be willing to offer him a two or three-year deal to stay put at the San Siro following his recent performances under manager Massimiliano Allegri. However, the club would reportedly consider a transfer if they received a significant proposal for him.
Falk says Liverpool is out of luck on Upamecano (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk does not think Liverpool has a chance to sign Dayot Upamecano.
If the Frenchman does opt to leave Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are the most likely destinations.
“It’s not good news for Liverpool fans – sorry for that! We have heard that there are just three clubs in the Frenchman’s mind for the future,” Falk told his website. “First of all, Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga champions are a little bit confident that they will get the center-half to sign a new contract. However, failing that, there are two clubs that interest Upamecano – otherwise, no Premier League clubs are on the list – and these are Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Both outfits are interested in the 27-year-old because he’s currently on track to be a free agent next year.
“Xabi Alonso’s side, in particular, are especially keen as they’re going to need new defenders. I heard there will be talks with Antonio Rüdiger in January to decide if he’ll get a new contract. David Alaba, likewise, will be a free agent in the summer. But that’s not to suggest PSG are anything but very interested in Upamecano. They want to build a team that almost mimics the French national side. Upamecano, a French national, would fit perfectly into this vision, and they can afford to meet his financial demands.”
It is near impossible to get a read on Upamecano at the moment. With a signing bonus and release clause both an issue yet to be solved, this could drag on a bit longer.
Big list for Boey (Tz)
Juventus seems to be hot for Sacha Boey (don’t ask us why), but the Serie A power is not alone. Galatasaray, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyon, West Ham United, Crystal Palace, and Sevilla are all in the mix as well:
Sacha Boey may be on the verge of a move to Juventus Turin, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. While Boey has made 14 appearances under coach Vincent Kompany this season, his future prospects are limited. Kompany is focusing on different player profiles, making Boey a potential sale candidate.
Besides Juventus, Galatasaray, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyon, West Ham United, Crystal Palace, and Sevilla are also showing interest in Boey. Clubs from England, Spain, and France are considered particularly realistic destinations, as Boey prefers these leagues. However, he sees a return to Galatasaray only as a last resort.
Bayern Munich just has to sell him…now. His value is not going to get higher.
Liverpool to get advantage on Guéhi? (ESPN)
Liverpool might be getting jumpy about its pursuit of Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guéhi and could be inclined to attempt to acquire him in January:
Crystal Palace believe Liverpool are the only club interested in signing center back Marc Guéhi in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports. Guehi’s contract runs until the end of the season and he’s free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club outside England from Jan. 1. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all reported to be keen, but Liverpool are expected to make the first move when the window opens as they have lost Giovanni Leoni to a long-term injury and there is uncertainty around Ibrahima Konaté’s future.
With Upamecano not considered to be a realistic target per Sport Bild’s Christian Falk, Liverpool might really have to turn its focus toward Guéhi.
