The Eagles offensive line has already seen significant changes through just four games, and they turned to yet another new grouping in the second half against in London. Right guard Tyler Steen left the game with a shoulder injury and after heading to the locker room, he was listed as questionable to return.
Fred Johnson stepped in to that role, and joins Markel
Bell, Willie Lampkin, Jake Majors, and Jordan Mailata up front. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been affected by the pass rush, but was able to get the ball out much faster this week and connect with his receivers. The run game is decimated by injuries, with the team already without Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby, and then losing Will Shipley in the first half on Sunday.
The team has been able to get things going despite all of the adversity they’re facing, but long-term, the roster depth is more than a little concerning.
