Munich opens the competitive season against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday with the first trophy of the 2026/27 campaign on the line. With Jamal Musiala unavailable, there are plenty of candidates who could step up in Der Klassiker.
- Harry Kane – After returning from his extended post-World Cup break, Bayern Munich’s striker will be looking to make an immediate impact. His finishing and ability to bring others into the attack could be crucial.
