Bayern Munich will kick off the preseason Asia tour against Jeju SK, a midtable club in the top flight of South Korea’s K League. Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer, and Josip Stanišić are back with the team but a number of other World Cup stars will stay home to recover from the mental and physical strain of the crowded schedule.
Prediction
Bayern wins 9-0. The veterans will occupy most of the starting positions and focus on touches and possession rather than scoring. It will still be a 5-0 scoreline by halftime but
the action will be mostly horizontal. Like clockwork, there will be a goal every 10 minutes in the second half. Vincent Kompany will be pleased with another clean sheet and no major injuries.
