Jake Cronenworth has been talked about as a potential trade piece for the past couple of seasons. He has value in that he can play multiple positions and is steady at the plate. For now, Cronenworth is projected

- MacKenzie Gore is moving to Arlington to become a member of the Texas Rangers after the Washington Nationals traded their ace pitcher for five minor league prospects.
- Reliever Taylor Rogers and the Minnesota Twins agreed to a one-year deal. The Twins also sent utility infielder Vidal Brujan to the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations. In a corresponding move the Mets designated reliever Richard Lovelady for assignment.
- A day after agreeing to terms with Cody Bellinger, the New York Yankees made another addition claiming Marco Luciano off waivers.
