The Bucs have been battling injuries of late, but two of the biggest have been to Konnor Griffin and Oneil Cruz. Griffin last played on May 30, while Cruz last played on June 7. Griffin’s return is hopefully coming up, while we probably won’t see Cruz until at least after the All-Star
Break.
Griffin was hitting .270 with 4 homers and 22 RBIs in 51 games, while Cruz was batting .264 with 14 dingers and 44 RBIs in 64 games. Cruz has had some well-publicized gaffes in the outfield, while Griffin’s .967 fielding percentage isn’t exactly Ozzie Smith stuff either.
Which one was the biggest loss?
