What is the story about?
The Steelers made a small roster change on Tuesday, announcing the release of offensive tackle David Sharpe from the practice squad.
That leaves Pittsburgh with one open spot on the practice squad entering the first round of the NFL playoffs.
Sharpe, a former 2017 fourth-round pick, signed with the Steelers in December. He never appeared in a game for Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh loaded up on offensive tackle depth following injuries to Broderick
Jones and Calvin Anderson earlier in the season. However, reserve offensive lineman Dylan Cook has played well as the new starter, allowing just one sack in four starts this season per PFF.
