Hector Fort has sent a good luck message to Barcelona for the 2025-26 season after sealing a late move to Elche on loan.
The right-back will be hoping for regular minutes at Elche, with the deal also including a purchase option.
Fort has taken to social media after making the switch and hinted that he’s hoping to return. He posted on Instagram: “Good luck this year Culers, see you soon.”

Fort will link up with Inaki Pena at Elche and will play under former Barcelona assistant Eder Sarabia for the coming
campaign.
The youngster struggled for game time at Barcelona last season under Hansi Flick, and spoke of his frustration, and the hope is that he can continue his development this season in La Liga with Elche.
Sarabia’s side have made a strong start to the season, taking points off Atletico and Real Betis and beating Levante 2-0 last time out.
