A year after being snubbed, and after 5 weeks of enduring being woefully and criminally under ranked, Miami earned an at-large berth into the 2025 College Football Playoffs!
The 10-2 Hurricanes are the
10 seed, and will travel to face #7 seed Texas A&M in the first round of the CFP.
This is a well deserved placement for the Hurricanes. They have a dynamic offense, the single best freshman in the country — WR Malachi Toney, they have the single best defensive player in the country — EDGE Rueben Bain Jr., and many, many more talented players. Miami is rolling, having won their previous 4 games by a combined score of 158-41. Those factors, along with a very strong resume, earned Miami a spot in the CFP for the first time.
Despite not playing in the ACC Championship Game, Miami moved up over Notre Dame, a team Miami beat to open the season. After weeks of bullshit, the Committee couldn’t continue their baseless “logic” of having Miami behind Notre Dame, and moved up the Canes into an at-large berth for the playoffs.
I’m shocked, honestly. I was ready for the committee to fuck Miami over again this year the same way they did last year. Wow. WOW!
We’ll have more on the playoff matchup in the weeks leading up to the game.
THE CANES ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!! Now, it’s time to go win.
