Last Season: Gasseau finished fourth on the team in points, with 15 goals and 30 points. After dominating
on a line centered by Cutter Gauthier in 2023-2024, last season saw Gasseau spend a lot more time at center on the team’s second line. He showed glimpses of a breakthrough — his 15 goals were a career-high, and he put up 10 points in a scorching four-game stretch last February — but consistency sometimes wavered (as it did for the entirety of last year’s team).
Season Outlook: Gasseau will be one of the Eagles’ most important players this coming season. As a returning senior entering his fourth year in the program and a captain, he’s arguably the biggest leadership voice on the roster. With Hagens likely centering the top line, Gasseau will slot in at the 2C. After scoring between 27-30 points in each of his first three seasons, Gasseau will be looking to breakout as a point-per-game player this year.
