CMLL hosted Night of Champions from Arena Mexico on Friday night (Sept. 26, 2025). Seven championships were on the line during the evening, and two new champions were crowned.
The show started with a title
change when Kemalito won the CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Championship from Tengu. The little troublemaker earned gold on an armbar. Tengu’s reign ends at 268 days.
Moving up one weight class, Angelito won the CMLL World Mini-Estrellas Championship from Ultimo Dragoncito. Angelito flexed his muscles for the Angelito submission to win. Ultimo Dragoncito’s reign ends at 679 days.
The rest of the results favored the champions.
In the main event, Atlantis Jr. retained the World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship over Xelhua. The challenger stretched the champion throughout the match. Atlantis Jr. prevailed with a hurricanrana pin to win.
India Sioux retained the Mexican National Women’s Championship over Kira. The challenger missed on a moonsault, and the champion capitalized for the flamingo driver to win.
Mascara Dorada retained the World Historic Welterweight Championship over Capitan Suicida. Dorada surged in the end with a suplex into the corner and a shooting star press to win.
Felino Jr., Hijo de Stuka Jr., & El Cobarde retained the Mexican National Trios Championship over Stigma, Arkalis, & Rayo Metalica. Los Herederos fired up for high-flying offense to finish with a powerbomb, swanton, flying splash teamwork combo on Stigma to win.
Templario retained the CMLL World Middleweight Championship over Villano III Jr. The swordsman parried on the turnbuckles for a sunset flip transition into a powerbomb backcracker to win.
