Once again, the Atlanta Braves announced a plethora of roster moves Tuesday morning. First, the club selected left-hander José Suarez to the major league roster, followed by the recall of righty Nathan Wiles. The club then optioned two right-handers, Connor Seabold and Alexis Díaz, to Triple-A Gwinnett. Finally, Sean Murphy was transferred to the 60-day injured list.
Suarez started game one of the doubleheader, where he tossed seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits. He recorded nine strikeouts.
Wiles did not get any action on Tuesday but could provide a bullpen arm at some point.
