Liv Morgan made a surprise appearance on Lucha Libre AAA, and she was none too pleased. The WWE women’s world champion barged in on Dominik Mysterio’s interview with the girlfriend of El Grande Americano.
Andrea Bazarte sat down with Dirty Dom to inquire why the AAA mega champion betrayed El Grande Americano in their tag team match against Los Perros del Mal. Dominik put the blame on EGA for doubting his allegiance to Los Gringos Locos 2.0. Dom was offended that EGA would even ask if he was part of Perros del Mal. Dominik is not
a liar. He is not involved with Los Perros.
Dominik doubled down on the blame with criticism that El Grande Americano won the mega title shot through the Rey de Reyes tournament. EGA also shook the hand of that imbecile Rey Mysterio. Dom claimed that he took time away from AAA to give the spotlight for EGA to blossom into a national hero for Mexico. The truth is that all EGA’s dreams will be destroyed by the King of the Luchadores. El Grande Americano will always be second to Dominik. EGA will be the second best luchador, receive the second loudest ovation from the crowd, and have the second prettiest girlfriend.
As for aligning with Dorian Roldan and Omos, Dominik blamed their jealous parents. He took note how Marisela Peña passed over her son to hand the general manager role to Rey. Now, Dom has the giant watching his back.
At the end, Liv Morgan stomped into the room with a mean mug glaring at Andrea. EGA’s girlfriend was not intimidated. Dominik cut the interview short and pulled Liv away. Even though Liv did not speak, he attitude was clear.
That was a funny guest spot for Morgan. I don’t think Andrea wrestles, so a mixed tag match might be a bridge too far at the moment. However, Andrea might have experience throwing hands. If Liv tries to interfere when Dominik wrestles El Grande Americano, there could be trouble.
Dominik and El Grande Americano will both be in Torreon, Mexico for next week’s live episode on the road to Triplemania. The main event of Triplemania is Dom defending the AAA Mega Championship against EGA.
