What is the story about?
Well, it was a good thing the Sox won last night, because it’s going to be a tough one this afternoon. The Sox take on Tarik Skubal, who received a big early boost in the Cy Young race when Garrett Crochet got rocked earlier this week. Of course, Skubal doesn’t really need the help, as he’s rocking a 2.22 ERA so far in his bid to hold onto the title of Best Pitcher in the World for a third straight season. He’s opposed by Brayan Bello, who has, ahh, not quite been in Cy Young form so far this year.
But he is coming off his best and longest start of the season, so hopefully he can keep the momentum going.
