The Utah Jazz have received a lot of bad news this season with injuries. The Jaren Jackson Jr. injury has been a big blow to Utah, and the record shows it. On top of that, Jusuf Nurkic’s injury meant Utah was missing all of its starting-caliber centers. Now, it looks like Jusuf Nurkic will be out a little longer.
It’ll be at least two more weeks before Nurkic is re-evaluated. The good news is that he is resuming on-court activities. So at least that’s something.
But Utah isn’t out of the woods yet with Lauri Markkanen, apparently. Markkanen is back on the Utah Jazz injury report today as questionable for tomorrow’s game.
Markkanen appeared to aggravate it in the last game and said that he’s playing through some pain right now. It’s a tough spot the Jazz are in right now, and they can use every player they can while they wait for the return of Jaren Jackson Jr. Hopefully, Markkanen can get right here soon, and Utah can steal some wins while they hope for good news on Nurkic and Jaren Jackson Jr.
