A double-bill of championship series, so enjoy it. Might only be one more this year, on Thursday. We start off with the National League, where the Dodgers will seek to even the series after losing the opener 2-1 in Milwaukee. A good start for the Brewers, but things won’t be any easier for them today: Yoshinobu Yamamoto isn’t much of a downgrade from Tarik Skubal. Meanwhile, the bargain basement American League Championship Series gets under way. All those who complain about Arizona fans not showing
up, should look at Cleveland. They have now made the postseason eight of the last eleven years, but their HIGHEST attendance is only 2,051,360. They’ve been below the D-backs every year in that time, bar the weirdo 2021 season. In 2026, the gap was 287,000.
Here’s what’s on offer today:
- Los Angeles Dodgers @ Milwaukee Brewers (0-1): 2 pm, FOX/FOX One
- Cleveland Guardians @ Tampa Bay Rays (0-0): 5 pm, TBS/HBO Max
