Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl is one of the NHL’s biggest and most productive stars.
So far this season, the German has amassed 35 goals and 62 assists for 97 points in just 62 games. Simply put, Draisaitl is a scoring and creating machine. Unfortunately for the Oilers, Draisaitl was just shut down for the season with a “lower-body injury.”
That description might sound like it came from the walls of Säbener Straße, but it is standard practice in the NHL. Anyway, Draisaitl has some time on his
hands now and decided to drop by the Bayern Munich vs. Union Berlin match, which the Bavarians won 4-0.
Afterward, Draisaitl visited the Bayern Munich locker room:
It is always cool to see the crossover of athletes who visit Bayern Munich. The downside is that just about no one wishes that Draisaitl was at the stadium. Everyone — especially Oilers fans — would much prefer to see him happy, healthy, and on the ice.
