The Dallas Cowboys shook things up earlier this week when they acquired the services of free agent pass rusher Von Miller. The 37-year-old, a native of Texas, fulfills a dream by coming home and playing for the Cowboys.
His contract is an economical one with a $5.5 million base for one year, and incentives could raise it to $7.5 million. Miller proved he wasn’t done last year after getting nine sacks for the Washington Commanders in an efficient role. Some advanced stats point to that number likely
being unrepeatable, but he can certainly still play in limited amounts.
We asked you what you thought of the trade by giving it a grade and the majority, 56%, gave it a ‘B’ grade, with an ‘A’ the next most-popular choice at 23%. We detailed a ‘B’ grade in the voting like this:
B – In spot duty, you believe he can help and you don’t mind the mentoring he would do for Ezeiruaku and Lawrence.
We’ll see just how much he has left in the tank this year. What’s your prediction for the number of sacks Von Miller gets in 2026? Hit the comments and let us know.
